Not quite how I meant it to turn out, but close enough. The first rising of the Sun over the Pélori, as described in J.R.R. Tolkien's Silmarillion:
Tilion had traversed the heaven seven times when the vessel of Arien was made ready. Then Anar arose in glory, and the first dawn of the Sun was like a great fire upon the towers of the Pélori: the clouds of Middle-earth were kindled and there was heard the sound of many waterfalls. (J.R.R. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
